For the first time in its eight seasons, Epic offered a completely free way to earn a Season 8 Battle Pass in Fortnite. A Battle Pass is a $10.00 membership that gives its owners 100 tiers worth of skins, emotes, and other unlockables. To unlock this season’s Battle Pass for free, all you had to do was complete 13 Overtime Challenges before yesterday.
If you were fortunate enough to complete all of the required Overtime Challenges before the deadline, you’ll now have access to a plethora of cosmetics that millions of players will have to pay for. Sprays and emotes are nice, but if you’re like me, you buy the Battle Pass for the character skins.
Here’s every skin that you’ll pick up for free this season if you have the Season 8 Battle Pass:
Blackheart is one of two characters you unlock straight away when purchasing the Battle pass. His base skin resembles a simple hooded pirate but as you complete his challenges he becomes much more intimidating.
Hybrid is the second skin you unlock as soon as you acquire the Battle Pass. He’s a red ninja, which honestly looks pretty cool in his first form. Unfortunately, he turns into a werewolf ninja as you complete his challenges.
Sidewinder doesn’t necessarily fit the mold of this patch, but I’m not complaining. It looks like this lady of the law is gonna be a popular with fans of the Wild Wild West.
Peely is my personal favorite skin of this season’s bunch. It turns you into a banana with arms and legs. What’s not to like?
Dark elf? Fire bender? All good characteristics in a Fortnite skin. It makes sense that you have to play all the way until Tier 71 to unlock her.
This skin is reminiscent of the Dash skin from a couple of seasons ago. It’s nothing too special, but the headband and tiger striped sleeves are a nice touch.
Master Key (masked)
When you reach tier 99 of the Battle Pass you actually unlock a mask for the Master Key skin. It’s practically just Master Key but with a golden tiger mask to show off as you destroy your enemies.
Luxe is the last skin you unlock in Season 8’s Battle Pass and the first woman skin to be the level 100 award. What do you guys think about this season’s Battle Pass skins? Let us know in the comments below.
